About us

The All-Party Parliamentary Group for Schools, Learning and Assessment was established in 2022 to promote and support school level education and the quality of learning, assessment and outcomes for all pupils. 

Our meetings explore the full breadth of issues across our schools system and engage policymakers with practical discussions of how we can improve education for students. 

Peter Swallow MP is the Chair and Tristan Osborne MP is the Co-chair of the group. The National Education Union provides the secretariat.
